Born in Bonn, Germany, Krystyna Granitza started working in theatres right after finishing school. After studying FINE ARTS and THEATRE DESIGN in Maastricht (NL), she finished her studies with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre - stage design in 2014 at the Toneelacademie Maastricht.

She moved to Vienna (AT) and worked in theatres as Burgtheater and Theater in der Josefstadt. In 2015 she started working in movies as Assistant Set Designer and Standby Props, as well as an Art Director and Set Designer for productions as music videos and short movies.

In 2017 she moved to Berlin (GER) and started working for the stage design departement at Schaubühne Berlin.

 

Since 2020 she is a freelance set & stage designer based in Berlin. Working in Theatres & Art Departments, she is in charge of set design and assistand set design, set decorating- & dressing and standby props.
